Plenary Indulgence

A plenary indulgence is available for any of the Christian faithful participating in the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage between May 17 and July 16, 2024. The elderly, infirm, or those who cannot leave their homes for a serious reason, and who participate in spirit with the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, uniting their prayers, pains, or inconveniences with Christ and the pilgrimage, may also receive the indulgence. The conditions for receiving the indulgence include all of the following: participating in the pilgrimage, making a sacramental Confession and receiving Holy Communion in the days leading up to or just after the pilgrimage participation, and praying for the intentions of the Holy Father. The indulgence may be applied to the souls in Purgatory.
