Upcoming Pastor Transition

On July 14th our beloved pastor Monsignor Mark Hammond will retire. We have been blessed for 20 years with Monsignor’s kindness, prayers, patience and love for us, as he guided us as our spiritual father. He will remain local during his retirement and we hope to see him regularly. Please feel free to send him mail through our parish office at 303 E. High Street Mount Vernon.

Father PJ Brandimarti will begin his duties as pastor of the parish on that date, however his Army chaplain duties will have him out of state until August. Father Farnan and Father Nic Ventura will be serving the parish during the second half of July.

As we grow closer to this transition, please pray for all of our priests: Msgr. Hammond, Father Brandimarti, Father Farnan, Retired Father Blubaugh and Father Nic Ventura. We are grateful to have such tremendous pastoral leadership here in Knox County.
